Our Story

Where Family, Service and Purpose Come Together

My name is Paola, and I am the founder and CEO of EAS JOY Cleaning Services LLC. This company began during the pandemic, when I decided to build something of my own and create a better future for my family. At the time, I worked for a cleaning company and held a second job at a restaurant. After more than ten years in the cleaning industry, I began asking myself: if I could manage responsibilities and help operate someone else’s company, why couldn’t I do the same for myself?

I did not have top of the line equipment or a perfect plan. I had experience, a willingness to work and the belief that I could begin. My first client came completely by chance. I found an industrial blender on Facebook Marketplace and went to purchase it. The woman selling it asked whether I was a baker because of its size. I explained that I was starting a cleaning company and the blender was unrelated, I just wanted better smoothies. She told me she was unhappy with the company cleaning her home and asked whether I would clean for her instead. I had gone there expecting to return with a blender, and I left with my first client.

After that, I searched Craigslist, Care.com and every platform I could find for people needing cleaning services. I worked hard and focused on giving every client a reason to trust me. Those first clients began recommending me to relatives, friends and neighbors. One referral led to another until I had a full schedule of clients receiving service every other week. During that time, my youngest daughter asked, “How many houses would you need each month before you could leave the restaurant and the cleaning company?”

I answered, “At least twenty.”

That became a goal for our family. Eventually, I reached the point where I could leave both jobs and dedicate myself completely to EAS JOY. When I started the company, My Husband and I were preparing to purchase a home. The business began from a practical need to earn more money and create stability. Nearly six years later, it has become much more than income. It is now a life project—a way to pursue new dreams, discover new purposes and help others.

I want the growth of EAS JOY to create resources: not only money, but also knowledge, relationships, experience and opportunities that can make a difference. I hope our journey can inspire other women, support young people and show families that they can build something meaningful even when the beginning is uncertain. What started as my effort became a family project. Building the company brought us together differently and changed how we think about money, opportunity and what may be possible for us. It also pushed us to question cultural and generational beliefs we carried from childhood.

Sometimes we grow up with ideas about what people like us can or cannot accomplish. Those ideas become invisible ceilings.

Through conferences, books, podcasts, mentors and continued education, we have worked to change our mindset and break through those limitations. EAS JOY has become a kind of school for our family and our children. It is teaching us to create, serve others, take responsibility, learn from mistakes and move forward when something feels unfamiliar. We want our children to know they can create new opportunities while remaining grounded in honesty, respect and care for others.

Our family is also present in our name.

EAS represents the initials of our three children, from oldest to youngest. JOY is the name of our beloved dog, although calling her a dog has never felt completely accurate. To us, she is our youngest child. Joy has since had two puppies, and we love them equally. Adding all their names would make the company name unreasonable long, but they are included in spirit. Every time we see EAS JOY, we remember why we started, whom we are working for and the values we want the company to carry as it grows.

Every current and former client is valuable to us. It is a privilege when people appreciate our work and allow us to become a small part of their lives. We have watched clients purchase their first homes, open their first stores, prepare for their first babies and begin new chapters. Others simply needed an extra hand during a busy or difficult season.

Cleaning a space may appear straightforward, but understanding the person who lives or works there is different. Every client has individual priorities and circumstances. A homeowner may need help balancing work and family. A business owner may be preparing to welcome customers. A property manager may need a reliable partner who understands that a building’s condition affects everyone entering it.

The most fulfilling part of our work is not only seeing a clean space at the end. It is learning our clients’ stories, watching them grow and knowing our work made part of their lives easier.

We never want someone to feel like another appointment or number. Every client represents a relationship we have been trusted to build—one guided by trust, integrity, respect and genuine care.

As EAS JOY grows, we want to strengthen our education, equipment, services and professional standards without losing the warmth and gratitude that helped us begin. Growth should make us more capable, but never distant from the people we serve. Our mission is to provide dependable, thoughtful cleaning while creating opportunities for our family, our team and our community. We want our story to remind others that beginnings do not need to be perfect to become meaningful.

Sometimes a new future begins with two jobs, a simple idea, an industrial blender from Facebook Marketplace and one person willing to give you an opportunity.

That is how EAS JOY began. Everything we build from here will continue to be guided by family, education, trust and genuine care for people.
