Upholstery is far less forgiving than carpet. Natural fibers, blends, microfiber, velvet and synthetic weaves each respond differently to moisture, agitation and cleaning agents, and the wrong approach can cause shrinkage, browning or watermarks that cannot be undone.

Before any cleaning begins, we identify the fabric, check manufacturer cleaning codes where they are available and test in an inconspicuous area. Only then do we select the pre-treatment, tooling and moisture level for the piece.

Cleaning is performed with upholstery tools that control both solution and vacuum, so soil is lifted while the fabric stays as dry as the material requires. Air movers can be placed afterward to shorten drying time.
